Aksidente – Di Talaga Maiwasan

Last December 2010, I resigned from the company I am working with. From the UAE, lumipad ako patungo sa Australia to be with my fiance, my then husband. Everyday was a happy day in Perth until I have to fly back to Philippines on March 2011 to sort things out in regards to our visa. Happy rin kase after a long time, this is the time I can be with my two daughters Anya, 7 and Alyssa 16.

May 2011, my mum and I were busy organizing kid’s stuff for school kase pasukan na kaya naman feeling mami-mamihan ang lola mo.

I was unconscious for the first 3 minutes on the ground.
Anyhoo, yun nga, pinahiga nila ulit ako sa kalsada ng sandali and I was trying to figure out what really happened. I tried to get up by myself, and when I made it to seated position, I heard my daughter shouting and crying ’til the top of her lungs saying “mommy!!!! mommy!!!! mommy!!!! I’m gonna tell Dad about what they did to you! mommy! how are you feeling??! mommyyyyyyy!!! mommy come here!!!” A woman was hugging her, trying to stop her from running to me in the middle of the road, and I can see that she really wanted to come to rescue me.

I looked down, as I can feel something very wet on my neck and in my face. Lots of blood running down from my face… And then again, I can hear Anya screaming and shouting “mommyyyyyyy!!! my mommyyyy!!” Little did she know I am thanking God that I can see her standing, moving all her body parts, no blood in her, and then I said to myself “thank you Lord, she is not hurt!”.

Dito na nila ako binuhat at tinakbo sa ospital with Anya. In our city, we don’t have the hospital that can accommodate such injuries kaya first aid muna ako saka tinakbo sa pinakamalapit na ospital, at take note, 45 minutes drive. I was in real pain. I can’t move my head, I can’t move my body, my right arm and I can’t move my right leg.

My daughter was totally fine albeit she still had to undergo whole body scanning, etc.

Limang din kami sa ospital. Anya was an outpatient but she stayed with me the whole time. I thank him too for taking good care of us.

I am sooooo very thankful sa mga taong sumaklolo. Thank you Lord talaga at maraming good samaritans!

This is a photo nung umuwi na ako ng bahay para magrecover. I clean my wounds as instructed by the doctor. My right eye here is still sore:

Eto naman nung tinanggal na ang tahi. After 13 days:

And this is the present pic, after 2 months since aksidente.

And this is what I am hoping for. Ipagpatuloy ko lang ang ointment:

I know this is so TMI. But, I’d like to share this.

    • onga eh. di lang nabibili ang lisensya kundi nagkalat rin ang non-registered vehicles, no insurance, and not qualified drivers. this country needs a twist, for the better.
nung time ng aksidente, hindi ko na muna inisip kung ano gagawin ko sa driver. ang priority ko is myself and the kid. i just made sure, during that time, kilala ko siya at alam ko ang plate number. pero, di ko na kelangan pwersahin pa magsurrender ang driver kase maraming taong tumulong na mahuli siya. he was there in the hospital when i was given the first aid and my daughter too.
he was crying at kenks. we can see that he is sorry for what he had done. but my dad brought him sa police station only to find out he has no license, no vehicle registration and most of all no insurance. pina-impound yung owner niya.
